Over 4000 enthusiastic fans packed West Main St. in the Village on Saturday evening to listen to the Best of Rochester Jazz, enjoy some great food and drink and visit with friends. Just about every square inch of space was used to accommodate visitors from as far away as Geneva, Canandaigua, Batavia and Buffalo. The smooth jazz sounds of The Bill Tiberio Band started the evening off and Rochester's Favorite Jazz Trio, Paradigm Shift picked up from there. The Latin Jazz sounds of The Mambo Kings had thousands tapping their feet and clapping their hands. And before the high energy of Hard Logic had fans calling for more, everyone enjoyed food and drink from the Village's pubs and restaurants. Steak kabobs, grilled swordfish, burgers, fried chicken and BBQ'd shrimp were just a few of the choices available. Smithwicks draft Irish Ale topped the list of draft beers and Barefoots Wines could be sampled and purchased. Add temperatures in the 80's, thousands of stars above and the evening could have gone on all night. Put July 7th, 2012 on your calendar now so you'll sure not to miss out next year.

Admission for the festival: Free to all..

Gates open at 4:15 p.m. Concerts are from 5 to 10... No pets, please.

Get comfortable: Bring chairs and your own picnic fixings, or purchase concessions from one of our many food vendors ( see menus ), you may bring your own beverages. A variety of acoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Rain plan: In event of rain, Bill Tiberio will perform at Hatter's Pub, Paradigm Shift will perform at Prime Steakhouse, The Mambo Kings will perform at The Coach and Hard Logic will perform at Hatter's Pub.. ( all on Main St in the Village of Webster )
